GRADUATE TRAINEE PROGRAMME

Structured Programme

As a Graduate Trainee, you will be participating in an intensive programme where you will be assigned to different lines of business on a rotational basis for a minimum of 3-6 months in each rotation. You will get to learn and explore our business through job rotations, extensive training, personalized coaching, and special projects. You will also have many opportunities to connect with new faces, including senior leaders and fellow trainees/employees, to unleash your fullest potential. 

Training

Asia Insurance will offer different professional training and talent development programmes for you so as to prepare you to take up various challenges of your work.  It would also include soft skill training aiming at enhancing individual capabilities.

Coaching

Regular one-on-one coaching session by function leaders that you will receive valuable feedback during your job rotation. We offer not only coaching for work but also to support your learning in general.
 

Business Travel/Overseas Conference 

Opportunities for business travel and assignments outside HK; You will be given opportunities to attend conferences held locally or overseas to ensure our future business leaders keep abreast of best practices within the industry and networking with other professionals.

Professional Qualification

Asia Insurance will support the trainees to attain professional qualifications as required in insurance industry as well as the chosen business/function stream.

AFTER THE PROGRAMME

Upon your graduation, you will be landing in a permanent role mainly under our business functions. There are a variety of professional insurance roles available in our company, and they include roles related to underwriting, reinsurance, business development, risk management and claims, etc. For details about different roles and functions, you could refer to the videos published by HKFI (Hong Kong Federation of Insurers) on career in insurance.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

​We are looking for a diverse pool of undergraduates of any disciplines or graduates with less than 2 years of working experience. Join us if you possess the following qualities:

  • Your working style is collaborative and inclusive, and you are ready to build good relationship across the organization

  • Ready to connect and engage with other team-mates in building a great organization with long-term stability and integrity

  • You are curious, eager to learn and attentive to details

  • You have good logical and critical thinking skills

  • You hold a Bachelor degree or above from any discipline with good academic results

  • You have excellent command of both spoken/written English and Cantonese with good presentation and communication skills
